This year I kind of (totally) failed at various blogging challenges. Granted, most if not all of them were primarily focused on reading and that has been a mess this year so I guess a certain level of failure is to be expected. Terrible outlook, I know.
Anyway, I was scrolling through Twitter yesterday as one does and I came across a challenge that ISN’T about reading (potential success rates rising already) but focuses on blogging and commenting back.
Y’all know if you’ve commented on this blog at any point ever that I’m horrid at replying in a timely manner let alone commenting back on your blog. I mentally respond and somehow that registers in my head as actually doing it which really doesn’t go well for anyone.
But onward to the challenge!
The fabulous Nori of @ReadWriteLove28 is hosting a year-long COMMENTING challenge that came from noticing a disconnect between engagement on Twitter versus the blogs we all run. Couldn’t agree more myself and I’m so excited to try to bridge that gap a bit more in the coming year.
The particulars. . .
- The challenge is year-long (Jan. 1, 2018 – Dec. 31, 2018)
- Comment on 365 blogs in the duration of the year
- Any blogs count (not just book blogs)
AND Nori has compiled a great spreadsheet with blogger information to make it easier to find 365 blogs which will go live closer to the new year (which is great because I wasn’t sure how I’d manage to find that many blogs TBH).
