Welcome to Sarah Castille, author of Luca, the second in the Ruin & Revenge series, out June 27th! She’s been kind enough to answer a few questions for us here on NovelKnight about herself and her book!
All About Sarah
You wrote a book! That’s pretty awesome. Why don’t you tell us a bit about what inspired Luca?
Luca is the second book in a full-length standalone mafia romance series set in Las Vegas. My parents have always loved mafia TV shows and books and when I was ill in the hospital a few years ago, they brought me a DVD player and the entire Sopranos collection. After watching those, I knew I wanted to write a mafia story, but one that showed the softer side of a criminal character.
Introduce us to your main character!
Betrayed by his wife and father, single dad Luca has thrown himself into his criminal world. He is a dangerous, ruthless mafia boss, but when he meets police detective Gabrielle Fawkes for the first time, sparks fly. Their explosive chemistry brings them together, and although he knows he should stay away, he can’t. He is a dominant and demanding lover, protective and possessive but he meets his match in Gabrielle who is more than capable of looking after herself!
