Friday 5 @ 5 – Books I Read Because of the Beautiful Covers

POSTED ON February 10, 2017 BY Tia Jenkins IN Weekly

Friday 5@5 is a weekly feature hosted here on NovelKnight to wrap up the week with a fun (and short) list because we know y’all want to get on with your weekends!

This Week’s Prompt

Books Read Based Solely on the Cover

You all know how obsessed I am about covers right? I mean almost all of my reading choices are based off of the covers! I know I know… Shame on me for judging a book by it’s cover, but I can’t help it! It’s the first thing I see while browsing.

It was SO HARD to choose which covers to feature this week, but I tried to keep them all older books that still need some love.

Rooms by Lauren Oliver – I just recently reviewed this one and I definitely eyed it because of that awesome cover!

Of Fire and Stars by Audrey Coulthurst – This one isn’t as old as some of the others but this cover is still absolutely gorgeous!

The Winner’s Curse by Marie Rutkoski – I love the way the dress is one of the main focal points!

Mosquitoland by David Arnold – This one is very simple, but that’s what I like about it. I don’t know why, but this one just called to me.

Wicked by Jennifer L. Armentrout – I like that the cover models are underwater. I love looking at photos like that so this cover is definitely a favorite of mine.

What are some of your favorite covers?

Next Week’s Prompt:

Mythological Creatures you want as a pet
