Beat the Backlist Sign Up & TBR

With the new year coming, I knew I needed to step up my reading game. This year has been a giant flop in the reading department and I need to change that. So when I found out that Austine was hosting this challenge, I KNEW I had to participate with her…and let me tell you, we have lots of amazing stuff in store *maniacal laugh*

Plus since it’s a reading challenge where you only read books published prior to 2017 how could I pass it up! I mean I have hundreds of books on my TBR that have been neglected due to new releases so this is the perfect way to knock some off.

If you want to know more about the challenge/sign up go HERE

We are also doing a Hogwarts House Cup mini challenge to make this year a little more fun with some friendly competition 😀 For more information about that, go HERE

Now for my TBR! I’m not sure how many books I want to read next year, but I’m aiming for AT LEAST 50 backlist titles. I don’t know if I’ll meet this goal, but I sure as heck am gonna try

If you want to add any of the books to your TBR feel free 😀 This is my BTB challenge shelf!

  1. Good luck! Your TBR has some really interesting reads on it! I really enjoyed books like Ice Kissed and Six of Crows, so I hope you will too.

I have a question about the challenge though. Can I aim to read about 45-50 but list my 80 or so unread backlist titles as a TBR? And then just adjust a bit if I end up reading one of them before 2017…
