ARC August // Week 2 and Even MORE Behind

POSTED ON August 13, 2016 BY Austine IN Reading Challenge

Well it’s that time of the week again where I share my (lack of) progress with ARC August. I’ve been getting a tad too caught up in all these other books that are definitely not ARCs. I mean, reading is reading, right? And adding an impromptu re-read of the Vampire Academy series by Richelle Mead may not have been the smartest move…

I do hope everyone is having a successful ARC August so far! I’ll be starting a second reading challenge tomorrow, August 14th, that goes until September 4th. The #ReadThemAllThon will cross-over a bit with ARC August but only for a few of the books.

For a full list of the ARCs I have to read and my (slow) progress, you can check out the challenge page here.

This Week’s ARC Reads

Again, only 3 books but better than nothing! Brings my total up to six!

  • Ghost Talkers by Mary Robinette Kowal (Review)
  • Extracted by Sherry D. Ficklin and Tyler H. Jolley (Review)
  • The Clandestine Betrothal by Alice Chetwynd Ley (Review to be scheduled)

I also had two other ARC reviews go live this week. The first, Poisoned Blade by Kate Elliott is part of the ARC August reading challenge. The second, The Sight by Chloe Neill, I read before August so it doesn’t count but you can read my review (and enter the awesome grand prize giveaway the author is having) if you’re interested. 🙂

Definitely need to step up my ARC-reading game but I don’t see that happening until after the weekend is over so…oh well. Such is life.

How’s ARC August going for you? Are you meeting your goals?
